Welcome!

One of us, Sylvia, loves reading, baking, photographing, blogging, and eating cupcakes. The other one got pulled into helping her, but Howard does loves creative designing and eating food. So you put us together and you get A Baked Creation! (Yes, the link in my name relates to my awesome day job!)

During the summer of 2008, we took three basic cake decorating courses together at our local arts and craft store (local meaning a 20-30 minute drive to the city north of us). After that, we taught ourselves how to do more with fondant and started blogging from home in Toronto, Ontario.

We like trying new recipes and products, experiencing different types of food, and exploring new ways to decorate desserts! We especially strive to make all the decorations edible. Edible being key! Nom Nom Nom!
